Debris Pickup Requirements

REQUIREMENTS CITY RESIDENTS MUST ADHERE TO FOR THE CITY STREET CREW TO PICK-UP RESIDENTS’ LIMBS, LEAVES, AND SHRUB PRUNING LIMBS / SHRUB PRUNING PICK-UP:
1. Limbs / shrub pruning must be stacked as close as possible to the street edge and must not impede traffic. Limbs / pruning must not be stacked in ditches.
2. Limbs / pruning cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter and cannot be over 4 feet long.
3. Limbs / shrubs cannot exceed 4 inches in diameter and cannot be over 4 feet long. They must not contain dirt, rock, or root material. Stumps and root systems will not be picked up.
4. The City reserves the right to remove one quantity per resident per week.
5. All debris must be hand stacked, NOT done by machine. Debris must be easily picked up by hand for loading onto the trailer.

LEAF PICK-UP:
1. Leaves must be stacked as close as possible to the street edge and must not impede traffic. Leaves must not be stacked in ditches.
2. The City reserves the right to remove one quantity per resident per week.

This service is provided for residents of the City to help with the maintenance of their yards not for large scale clearing of lots or debris left by a hired professional. The hired professional is responsible for removing any large items and items not hand stacked. THE CITY RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE PICK-UP TO RESIDENTS THAT DO NOT ADHERE TO THE REQUIREMENTS.

Occupational Tax (business license) are due January 1. License renewed after April 1, have a 10% penalty.

If a person commences business on or after July 1 in any year, the occupation tax and regulatory fee for the remaining portion of the year will be 50% (or one-half) of the tax imposed for the entire year.

Clubhouse Rental Application

The application can be completed and submitted online or in person. Once your application is received and your requested date is confirmed available – you will be emailed a link to pay, or you can call and pay over the phone.

Waste Water – Septage

The City of Lincolnton Wastewater Plant septage receiving rate schedule is as follows:

0 – 2,000 gallons: $125.00 per truck load

2,001 – 3,000 gallons: $150.00 per truck load

3,001+ gallons: $150.00 + $50.00 per 1,000 gallons over 3,000

Our wastewater plant is located off of Old Petersburg Road at 1183 Mitchell Lane.
