City Attorney

Adam Nelson serves as our city attorney. In this position, he works as legal advisor to the Mayor, Council, and other City Boards. The city attorney serves at the pleasure of the Mayor and reports directly to the Mayor and City Council. He prepares legal documents, serves as legal advocate during civil litigation and reviews ordinances as needed.
